"Autumn Leaves..."

I paused with Jacob Erin-Cilberto’s work …“October”… this morning.  And not to detract in the least from his piece this one “flowed” behind my eyes.  Please visit his and allow your own epiphany to whisper in your life.

Seems we have "lost" many ...things... through our years

and watched many more pass in review.

Tears - if just internal,

echo

with each loss.

Smiles follow each gain.

But we do hold each memory's moment

- so close...

so very close

that

sunrise bursts anew in our eyes and mind

and the coffee chills

unnoticed by stilled fingertips.

Art inspires art. Especially in this remarkable community that is supportive toward one another. Where creatives around the world share their work in hopes to touch the heart of their audience. We are lucky to have a place like writer's Cafe to congregate and share art. Where voice are myriad as the cultures to come from. And as accepting and respectful of one another despite differences we may have. If we can do this it shouldn't be difficult for the rest of the world the emulate. CLE
