Moccasins Are a Girl's Best Friend

Moccasins Are a Girl's Best Friend

A Poem by Andy Ruffett
"

You know it's true.

"

Moccasins are a girl’s best friend

Every pair sets a trend

for the next girl walking by

Every girl wants a pair

They want the boys to stare

as they pass

They come in brown,

scuffed around town,

for the city streets

is no place

for a native shoe

But she doesn’t care,

she’ll walk around

everywhere,

just to show off

the latest style

Girls set the trend

and if you ask them,

they’ll commend that

“moccasins are a girl’s best friend”
