Simple beauty,

With a simple line,

Our many duties,

Yet for a friend there’s time,

 

Honest fun,

With an honest joke,

Our laughter’s never done,

Yet in time we soak,

 

 A caring nudge,

With knowing silence,

Our life’s painting of no smudge,

And yes there’s friendship minus violence.

 

A Friends love,

With all the time in the world,

To fly away like doves,

As time is existence so swirled.
