A gulp from the golden cup of freedom

Knowing you want it

Have never done it

 

Inside the fire

Kindles deepest desire

 

Still blenching in fear

Even shed a tear

 

Too strong Nature's call

For sure you won't fall

 

Leave anxiousness behind

Courage is there to find

 

Trust the elements

You're one of the ingredients

 

Give in to your longing

Savour the essence of living

 

Don't stop in your track

Nothing holds you back

 

Deep down inside you know

Life itself dictates the flow

 

You can no longer resist

But stubbornly insist

 

Calm down

We are out of town

 

Breathe in - breathe out

Feel the dissolving doubt

 

Strength slowly building

Mood is yielding

 

I'm gonna show

You just let go

 

Of all restraints

With no complaints

 

Spread your wings

Feel the winds

 

Feathers are willing

It won't be your killing

 

Throw yourself into hands of fate

It's never too late

 

Now dare

Don't stare

 

Let go and fall into life

It's always been your strive

 

Soar onto the breeze

Yes, now you freely breathe

 

High up in the air

Left behind all care

 

Face now aglow it brightly shines

For tasting on life's finest wines

 

You lost all earthly boredom

And gained of the highest freedom

 

You all out there, look up into the sky

You may see it, give it a try

 

You may have heard

Some call it Angel, others Bird

I really wasn't in the right head space to read it probably as I should have, but it created a lovely floating through my head. The words I mean. I focused finally on the last line which made it very strong for me, and I particularly liked the capitals on Angel and Bird.
