Mockingbird's Melodies

Mockingbird's Melodies

A Poem by AngelicVoicedRiver

So night has come to this,
Hasn't it Mockingbird?
No matter how difficult the tune I play,
You repeat every note in an improved melody,
I will try to challenge you my friend,

So dawn has come to this hasn't it Mockingbird?
Arising to the songs you sing,
So the sky?
Why don't you fly to away?
Share what you sing!
Make the people you meet think of you like an old friend,

So, a year has passed hasn't it Mockingbird?
You have become my best friend,
You are the only one who can sing back to me,
You are the only one who cares enough,

So... Mockingbird?
The reason you stay I know;
To hear melodies,
To make them what they are,
To hear yourself sing?
To be my one shining star...
