Winter Love

A love filled moment in winter

Winter love
Winter hug
the soft breeze wraps around
and snow falls to the ground
as I snuggle in tight
protecting me from the cold winter night

The fire glows so bright
in the middle of the night
warming the thoughts in our hearts
as the beginning of winter starts
and our heads are filled with joy
with all of winter’s soft noise

Our hands wrap around each other
Sharing this warmth and moment together
as the breeze outside
never to subside
threatens to break in
as our winter love begins.

The soft breeze wraps around
and the snow falls to the ground
as I snuggle in tight
protecting me from the cold winter night

You suddenly jump up and run out the door
to be seen no more
through the winter’s white breeze
i’m hoping you don’t freeze
in the cold of the blizzard
in the night of winter

a white ball comes flying in
and you begin to grin
as it hits me with such coldness
as i begin to hold it
and toss it back to you
and it misses and hits our shoes

as I snuggle in tight
protecting me from the cold winter night

We look at each other and laugh
enjoying our time and half
together tonight
during the cold winter night
having fun with each other
for we really do love our winter together

And as we snuggle back in
you lean in with a grin
and whisper softly in my ear
and i lean in to hear
“I love you.”
And I love you and our winter love too.
