We Are Not Your Pets

This poem in about pets having a voice and being equal.

We are not your pets. We are not your slaves. We are not your plaything. We are not your experiment. We are not disposable. We are your equal. 

I am not your master. I am not your superior. I am not your murderer. I am not your abuser. I will not throw you away. I am your equal.

We will not be thrown away. We will not be a number. We will not be forgotten. We will not shed a tear. We will not take this abuse anymore. We are not your pets. We are all equals now and for all eternity.
