Just Say It!

Just Say It!

A Poem by Annie Wilthew

Frustration with not being able to speak what I truly want to say

My breath grates like the strings of a cello
My throat cracks like the parched scales of the desert
My voice writhes and wrestles to bellow
The words which prod and hide
In my loud labyrinthine mind

Annie Wilthew
I've been spit-firing a bunch of poems! It's just been one of those days where there are enough difficulties to pull my hair out, and these several poems are the result.
