            “Really,” he asked shaking his head. “’Cause it sounded to me like you were just owned by two junkies.”

            “Yep,” he replied, picking out a spot on the front bench to sit. “It most certainly did sound like they “owned” me.” He then whipped out his notepad, slid his pen out from behind his ear, and began to write.

            And all the while Burt leaned on the front gate, gazing off into the distant streets and occasionally scanning the school front for passerbys.

This was a disappointing write for me. I'll have to make up the rest on the 3rd.
