Don't wanna leave my bed!

Don't wanna leave my bed!

A Poem by Austin Smith
"

Just a little doodle I made at a bus stop today (08/18/11).

"

Light

comes in

through the cracks,

uninvited,

and unrequested.

It touches my skin and,

more importantly, my eyes.

This two-bit place won't let me sleep!

I pull the covers over my eyes and

avoid her, the bright dawn springin to life.

The sound of the clock goes on and on,

tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock, tick-tock,

And birds sing a gay li'l tune.

The sleep will come back soon

eventually . . .

I must lie here,

underneath,

in the

Dark.
