What a heart.

What a heart.

A Poem by glasswindow
"

Something I wrote long ago.

"

Hope… its killing me

This hope has no sympathy

Bitter sweet memories of us and

Your radiant smile

Oh how it lit up my room

But now your touch poisons me

Every breath I breathe

Filled with your toxicity

I have no escape

My mouth is foul , it taste of grit

Stained by your bitter taste

As if hate was its base

You fell from your grace

We had love and trust

But now there’s no trust

And no love

So what is left is lust and dust

But the gleaming light

From the window in my room

Offers me hope…. Out of this tomb

Oh thank you very much, and for course I will.
Good write, you described betrayal very nicely in this poem, how someone you trust and loved, turned into a monster, a foreign creature, who you don't even know anymore. Great wright keep it up!!!!!!!!!
