The lost poet

The lost poet

A Poem by CA Anurag Sharma

As the lost poet sat in a bewilderment,
"What is right and what is wrong?
Whose intention with me is right and whose not?
Thoughts tied between ifs and buts,
Will people like accept me or not?"
Suddenly heart shouts,
Suddenly the mind yelled,
 "Just don't give a f**k,
What others think is their problem,
What they say is their freedom,
Today you are alive,
Tomorrow you may not,
Live it the way you want,
Once you are dead, you are dead,
You wont be able to do anything after that,
The d-day can arrive anytime,
Dont waste your time in thinking about anything,
Just do what you want"
With these thoughts the lost poet put his pen down.

Life is short. We don't know how long we have. No point in worrying about trivia. Who cares what others think of us. Live your life as you see fit. A good philosophy to have.
