Do I deserve it

As tears continue to flow through the eyes,

As world continues to judge from what they see from outside,

"Do I deserve it" as I stumble through my thoughts,

Lamenting on what I have lost, 

As warrior in me looses his shinning armor,

As hope whistles out with the tears,

I have fought enough,

I have died enough,

I have lived enough,

Every day looks like a never ending mess,

As shallow heart look for a never ending nemesis,

Confined in a lifeless body,

Fighting with situations which gulping me like a faceless enemy,

World is a brutal place,

Where people and situations just break you badly,

So badly that you fear from looking at the mirror,

So badly that you loose courage to even face yourself,

As jaded light  of hope vanishes through the window of disappointment,

The warrior in me looks at the sky,

"Do I deserve it? How will I fight this now?"

I like the extended metaphor running through this write. Life at times is a battle. It is a real struggle for all sorts of reasons. It is no bed of roses for many. You have to dig in deep. Thank you for posting.
