Warrior

Edgy, addled and bewildered,

But not giving up yet,

For some I am dead, for some I am lost,

But somewhere trying my best to make a comeback,

Making a life from the debris of what is left,

Beginning again from the melancholy,

Warrior in me has not given up yet,

What I lost was never mine,

What I went through was a sordid mess,

Promising myself to make a peace with the bad experiences I had,

Fighting with the nemesis of the past,

As I pick myself up again,

Warrior in me has not given up yet!
