Therefore I Am

Therefore I Am

A Poem by Apebble

Is this the whole picture,

Or is this just the frame?

Am I living in this world,

Or living only in name?

Each breath feels warm,

No crispness, no chill,

Only lifeless mediocrity,

Dreaming, as I stand still.

How can I know I live?

I think, so I must be,

But if my thoughts are empty,

Does this mean so must I?

Short and sweet but deep and real. I like it. I really like that last paragraph. I think like that sometimes. Great job.
