F**k Rhyming

I showed my brother a poem I wrote once, and he responded with "but it doesn't rhyme?" So naturally I wrote this in response.

F**k Rhyming

So my brother says that he likes poems

With long spun out words that rhyme and are true

But rhyming takes time and is quite a pain

Since all the wrong words can rhyme nicely too

Who's to say that all the poems must rhyme?

And all other poems just waste your time?

I quite like the poems that speak bluntly

With words that have meanings far more sublime

A poem could rhyme with words that are s**t

With no subtle meaning, subtext, or wit

So visit a zoo with a kalamazoo!

Who cares what it means if your rhyming is true?

Maybe I'm wrong and I'll never write well

But to be bound by rhyming? I'd rather see hell.
