Sacrificial Rite

Sacrificial Rite

A Poem by TamiViolet
"

I'm in a place, not certain where

"

Her fate lies on a predestined canvas

Of muted red

Darkness speaks truth though

Gifts are silent

Blindly, she searches for the magical

Key that will finally
 Unlock

His lonely chamber

Her spirit is gentle,

Ready to disclose

The one she has loved

Forever...

'Drink the blood that has patiently

Dripped from my heart into
This Sacred Cask...

As you feel its warmth

Rushing through your veins

Know...

I love you'

Can he see beyond Time's Regal clock?

Lift the veil of that which separates

Logic and Passion?

Sight and Touch?

She's coming for him soon

 Possessing

The Key...

To his Rebirth

'Meet me at the bottom of the

Spiral Staircase'

Tears shed belong to him...

For him...

Reaching within the nucleus

Of an isolated cell

Love hurts that much

A black abyss

She descends

Answering to the Dark Moon's call

Discovering the deepest place

That eats away at her flesh

She'll sacrifice her life

For him...

If one moment...

His Eyes See

"She's coming for him soon

Again, another masterpiece, you never cease to amaze me. You know I am a big fan of you, right? I can't wait when you, Dani, and I fiinish that collaboration poem, it will be sooo awesome!!

It 's always good to have your mind enlightened by others, ecspecially intelligent people on this site...and using themes or symbols, in your case, the Sacramental Wine Cask, makes the poem more interesting.

I still think you should publish a book of your poetry. It's smooth and flows well, and I really mean that.

This is a tale of the darkest of loves. I throughly enjoyed this
piece. It surrendered all to one of a dark soul, manipulating his
power, a spell that ended in her death. AD

Dani gives the best reviews, does'nt she ? I have to agree with her. There is a calming gentle touch to your work that captures your readers regardless of the subject. You could make making toast sound romantic !!
Your words remind me of the swaying of trees branches in the fall breeze. Coaxing the leaves gently to the ground.

Can he see beyond Time's Regal clock?

Lift the veil of that which separates

Logic and Passion?

Sight and Touch?

Very beautiful !!

Incredibly well done A. Wow..

Though this is dark, I found hope here.
Hope and love... is what I read, in the
midst of darkness... light.

Your talent seems to be traveling to new
heights with each new piece that I read of
yours.. I am often left with a feeling of
awe.

There always seems to be a calmness in your work,
a gentle peace -- no matter what the content.
I believe your spirit shines through in your writing,
regardless of the story being told..

This is lovely my friend. Beautifully done.
