Hoax

Hoax

A Poem by TamiViolet
"

Just pretending folks.

"

It is said thy written word is thy bond,

But my love, our time has ended abruptly.

You see, I might love you more than the

Air for which I desperately gasp on this day.

But tomorrow is fickle with uncertainty,

And although I alter my presence,

I am unable to alter the soul's longing;

It only knows for which it grieves...

On this day.

Unconditional love you failed to give

Although promised yet I forgive;

Time is indeed a trickster;

It carves thy blood deep in mere words.

Only words?

Just a poem?

You wanted me to feel good?

Then what, love?

Wedge the dagger carefully....

Stealthily...

Cunningly...

Until you breathe my death...?

Oh, but love!

The joke is on you.

mmmmmm..... steal my heart and then attempt to feed it to me, only to find yourself eating your own heart out? Once again, you have me digging for the deeper meaning. Although, I often tend to pull my own far fetched notions and not necessarily your intended. I wish I could have a few minutes in your mind, A.... I find it quite fascinating.

I read a lover's deceit .... followed by the law of our existence, being karma of course. But then, that was the simple interpretation. There is much more to it. The question is, what... ?

There is significance to "On this day"... well, there is significance to the entire poem, but something stands out for me there. Is that where the deceit lay? .... within this day. A facade of realities... mirage of truths. Pretenses. Time reveals, doesn't it? I mean, we cannot fool our own heart for it knows the truth and if we lie to ourselves, time will force it out into the open in one form or another. And what appears absolute in this moment may eventually reveal itself to be merely dust in the wind. Hmm... I'm just not confident with that interpretation, however. Perhaps the a*****e is throwing me off. lol Er, I mean the jackass in the hole. haha. Nice touch. ;)

Seriously, something else about this piece is pulling me toward another meaning. I'll be pondering for awhile.

As is always the case, I love your work my dear friend.

Brilliant.

Take it for what it is !I can do that becus eit is excellent and well layered !
I can relate to many things here and its meaning hidden or underlined.
Loved the rhyme and flow but the depth of these lines got me all fired up with a smile!
But tomorrow is fickle with uncertainty,

And although I alter my presence,

I am unable to alter the soul's longing;

It only knows for which it grieves...

On this day.

Amusing image.

The joke is on everyone. I constantly point to the Hindu model of Shiva-Shakti as the optimal orientation of male-female principles (even WITHIN either gender, since women have masculine aspects, and men have feminine aspects). Shiva is Consciousness Itself, fiercely eternally liberated from the implications of Form. Shakti is the ENTIRE manifest interdimensional Kosmos of Form, meaning all "normal" assumptions about the nature of Existence abide in the belly of the Goddess.

By this definition, there are hardly any men at all, hence the perpetual vexation of women. Women, of course, still have to have something in them to respond to Consciousness, or it is all a mere mood rise and fall, sound and fury signifying nothing.

I find myself relentlessly hammering on what has been presumed to be the province of esoterica, because if the cues and clues to radical, or root Consciousness, have been Grounded in this realm for at least 5000 years (Bhagavad Gita hints, Buddhic awareness, Tantric practices, Taoist orientation, Advaitic dignity), and something like 70% of humanity are still yammering about their f*****g BELIEFS, doing no Consciousness work whatsoever, I think I'm gonna SHOUT -- c'mon now, SHOUT! ;-)

"Religion" means "to bind." That doesn't necessarily mean what we usually call mythic religion -- it could also mean sexual desire of an unconscious nature, or hive subservience to corporatist exploitation. This is why I tend to proselytize for integral compositional art AS religion, since the only orientation that turns "binding" into cognitive evolution and real transcendence is an original cognitive yoga (yoga means "yoke" or a binding with a potential for real WORK engagement).

This may all seem over the top re your nimble elegant poem of romantic frustration. Then again, you may see WHY I'm taking this tack with the material.

It is surprisingly easy to see through all nonsense when one has gotten sufficiently bored with those tendencies in oneself.

Romance Consciousness Itself, and soulsexual intensities have a bold new marveloous context.

As individuals take their turn trying to bring us down we smile and laugh. They only thought they won because they did win only for a moment. Great work. The picture tells it all.

"Oh, but love!

This is just awesome, especially these closing lines...They really nailed the entire emotions and all.
The plot is definitely very different and I can observe the shift of emotions of yours here.
Brilliant work :)

I will take it for what it is, and what it is is excellent! in fact, it is one of my favorites of yours cause it is so raw. your emotions are oozing out. and what i like is the fact you can take a rant style, and make it into your own, make it into a poetic creation.

the joke is on you!!! lol. sure is, love for him to read this. great job!!!

A deeply torn message. Longing and realization that it can not be fulfilled. Great write. Love the pic with it. An a*s in a hole. :) Hope they got him out okay though.
