Rhapsodized

Rhapsodized

A Poem by TamiViolet
"

Spring has just about sprung, yes? Along with so much more...

"

The silvery rain stings our faces,

And the assault of April's discontent

     Awakens dreams pressed into

Empty

Wine cellars...

Purple crocuses bloom wild in woods

   Preparing for summer fantasy as

     Nature's rhythm,

Graceful like raving lovers reunited,

          Unveils dormant spirits waiting...

                To be reborn...

I ADORE the alliteration in the first three lines... Simply beautiful... This poem was amazingly stunning. It's going to be added to my library. Simple fantastic. The feeling is so... "classic"... I don't know any other way to describe it. Fascinating and great picture too. 100/100 across the board!

Beautifully read and spoken! The way this poem sounds when spoken aloud is almost as pretty as the imagery it creates. :)

I love the juxtapositioning you've got with the silvery rain stinging the faces.
Also the physical structure of the poem is interedsting and puts emphasis on vital mofifs.
The final line is just perfect; it leaves the reader with a sense of the cycle of life, continous and natural..
well done :)

I liked the structure of this piece a lot, it is complimenting the emotions behind this writing a lot.
The subject is again very refreshing and graceful.

" Unveils dormant spirits waiting..." - Loved these lines a lot, they are very lyrical.

Loved this :)

I really like the line about April's discontent. It was graphic and really brought the point across. Loved it!

Lovely idyllic writing, capturing something of Spring's awakening and turning it into an image of love's awakening
