Please don't forget but don't hold on

Please don't forget but don't hold on

A Poem by Apolline Redwood
"

Just a little piece

"

Don't you ever stop

thinking about me

I know some of the things

I've done make you want to forget me

all together

But if you let those fade

and let the sparklers shine through

and break the darkness

You'll only ever smile

when you toss and turn in your sleep

to memories of

me and you

Don't you ever stop

loving me even

when I'm gone

I know it's been awhile

but if you forgive me

and hold our sweet moments

in yout hear

You and I

we won't have

to be together

You can run

and find someone better

who won't hurt you like I did

I just want

you to love the thoughts

of you and me

So when you think of me

let the first kiss under the stars

overpower our last words

Oh please don't stop

loving me.

This was actually something I though over and over about and it sounds a little possesive but I like it nonetheless
