Stumped on Hope for Magic

Stumped on Hope for Magic

A Poem by Apolline Redwood
"

Sweet, loving and hopeful

"

Wishing never got me far:

I've sworn to countless stars,

Dropped too many quarters

in the fountain of youth.

Just stumped on hope

for magic.

But the one night I saw it come true

a miracle coming true,

was when that shooting star

brought me you.
