Providence of Terra

Providence of Terra

A Poem by Aria

Come now
All you little angels
Bring forth your dreams
Play me your lovely church bells
For I know how you must dislike my screams

Come now
Do not think to delay
Paint my picture, soft and swift
Call on your Rembrant, DaVinci and Monet
Pay no mind to the still-life adrift

Come now
Make haste and take my reins
Take me to your beloved
I do grow weary of these chains
Fear not. I'll not look to where I am led

Come now
Show to me all your shimmering stars
Lure me with their ancient magic
Please keep your promise of all the wars
I swear I'll not cry, how ever tragic

Come now...Please
I will not pray, fight nor run
You may take my every memory
But that changes not what you have done
My beloved will come for me

About
I don't do well with talking about myself so I will simply say that my writing sets the stage for my imagination to play. But more than that, every piece I write, whether a poem or novel, is a bit of .. more..
