Glad I decided to look at some older works, this is interesting. Everything about it actually makes me think of your story in some way or another, I won't be surprised if it's connected. The Dry the flood part makes me think of Maeya stopping wounds from bleeding with her healing. I really think the repetition is a nice touch as well.

I really enjoyed reading this, it were really fascinating. What i feel when i read this is about a strong person in the mids of war trying to survive each day. to keep there head up and just fight on to not give up even tough it might be hard. its a amazing way you write this that could really make me see it in away even tough it might be different from what you were trying to illustrate. after all a experience is different for everyone. This poem also reminded me of my own life, my own battles and how i have tried to keep on going. You have a talent for capturing the moment and i will enjoy reading more of your work :)
