Lucky

Lucky

A Poem by Ashira Macy
"

Just a one line piece of prose that slipped out of me last night.

"
Some nights I just sit
alone
and think...

How lucky I am
that you exist
in my world.

You wrote everything necessary in so few words dear Ashira. When we show appreciation. Two people can find great happiness. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry for love.

A popular sentiment expressed nicely and concisely. It could be pared down into a pretty good haiku:

Some nights I just sit
and thing how lucky I am:
you exist with me!

Sometimes few words say so much. This poem says so very much. There is the earth and then there are the people who cross our paths, but the people who we welcome into our world mean the most.

So simple yet it speaks a thousand words at once. In my eyes at least haha. I've actually put up enough courage to create a poem myself but it'll never be as good as yours.

i like the simplicity and the fine tone ..we all need the reminder to appreciate those close to us ... i wouldn't have thought it to be the muse as jacob mentions ..but i really like that thought line as well!

i like this because it can refer to a significant other, or the muse...
