Cheers to 2010!

here is a toast
to bring on a new year
hopefully getting over
or taking on a new fear
this could be the most memorable
or possibly the worst
either way it goes
it wouldn't be the first
my new years resolutions
are pretty reasonable
and I know very well
new mistakes aren't forgettable
I am going to be
as successful as I can
the utmost important
hold onto my man
no matter how hard
times seem to get
I will stay strong
not break a sweat
I will keep positive
no matter what comes my way
I won't hold that image
I used to try to portray
the relationships that ended
are permanently at rest
the new ones to come
my effort will be the best
I will still smoke weed
and have a good time
this time next year
he will still be mine
I will set goals
and work my a*s off to achieve
maybe this city
will finally see me leave
so here is to a new year
maybe better than the last two
