The Dog of my Dreams

The Dog of my Dreams

A Poem by Ashton Blake

She tries to run away
Every night and every day
In the road and the street
I love that dog shes a treat
She's a big bundle of joy
She loves to play with her favorite toy
Her name is Daffodil
She's my pride and joy

A simple poem about something most of us can relate to, very nice! :)

Just remember to use apostrophes when using contractions - like "She's," which combines "she" and "is," instead of just "shes."

I enjoyed reading this, and I thought back to when I had my own dog a while back. Keep writing! :)

Aww this was such a great poem! I have a puppy named Jack and I know exactly how you feel. :) I can't believe your only ten; you write really well. I wish I was that good when I was ten!
