Still

Still

A Poem by AssonanceWriter

I’m a nuisance

A strident clamorous indecisive human being

Roaring emotions’ that I didn’t perceive

I’m in a weak condition

I steer through these dark fights

A sensation that I’m conducting on my own

What do you do with a fractured love?

Nothing seems to cure this hurt

You step out of those doors- and each time that you do, it gets worst

You and I put so much damage into such a fragile relationship

I have too many reasons to barricade for my actions

No one even has to know- as we fall apart

Learning how to let you go- but nothing seems to work

You and I put so much damage into such a fragile relationship

I attempt to stand my ground and found myself to show you at my worst

Terminate what we had, but it backfires

What do you do with a fractured love?

I’m a nuisance

A strident clamorous indecisive human being

Roaring emotions’ that I didn’t perceive

I’m in a weak condition

Momentarily, you return to what is left of us

Should I persevere with caution- and permit to Forgive you again?

Instantly, I surrender- and nothing seems to sit right-

Despite what goes around in circles, the damage, and the hurt

I love you,

Still
