Earth Collapsed into Piles

Earth Collapsed into Piles

A Poem by Frank F. Atanacio
"

feeling mother nature's wrath

"

Nothing like this was ever kept in files,

the earth collapsed into piles,

they could hear his voice echo

against the flat sided canyons

for what seemed like miles,

the layers of rocks exposed

by the canyons were brilliantly

varied in hues of orange and red,

and it completely covered the dead,

it was like fire,

and it explained death’s innate desire,

one survivor would sit,

and knew that he had lived to tell about it.

Very clever and eye catching title. A unique and powerful way to describe "mother nature wrath." Well done!
