Oblivious

Oblivious

A Poem by :-)
"

I look around, and catch a real glimpse of the social world (the wasabi, for example) hidden under layers of sugar and icing. It isn't very good, I know, but I was thinking of wasabi.

"
Expressionless people move
Among the crowds in fleets
Unaware of the way
Broken and irreplaceable things
Are caught up by the claws of ravens
As they prowl the streets
Hissing, angry, their wings
Catch onto street signs and lamps
And they cower, trapped
Yet free to watch the people
Trudge by, quietly ignorant
To the knives buried in their backs

Author's Note

:-)
Not a great poem, I know, but I was thinking of spring roll sauce and wasabi, so give me an almost-break.
