The Call

The Call

A Poem by Austin_Tyler
"

"No matter how far I've tried to run, He finds me every time"

"

I can not go it alone.

My peservance put to the test.

The universe is on my side,

though sometimes I still feel lonely,

when the sky trades it's sun for the moon.

I can not do this alone.

I've been a liar, a coward as well.

Afraid of the truth,

too scared I may hurt more people.

Or was it too scared to maybe be left alone?

I lied about myself to others,

I lied to myself as well.

The ones who've been here the most,

are the same ones I do not deserve.

I found courage when I found your love.

Loving unconditionally, like a hurricane with extraordinary depths.

Your love is perfect becasue I am unworthy.

You've paid my fines and wiped my tears.

You deserve our praise because we are all unworthy.

Today is a gift since you hold tomorrow,

to be grateful for my yesterdays,

to work courageously in my todays,

and to trust you with my tomorrows.

I give you my life the way you gave yours for me.

To serve and to love,

to protect and honor.

I will not miss my chance to live your perfect plan.

I trust you and your staff,

since you are my sheppard.

I will NOT be alone,

since you are eterinty.

You've been waiting patiently,

for me to answer your call.
