the scars will show

i just learned that my friend cuts herself and it really shocked me. i though i would wake up one day and she would be gone. so i guess i wrote this to express her feelings about it.

It didn't hurt as much as he hurt me

Or the words she speaks

Or the yell my parents gave

Just because I missed behaved

Not the dirty looks from everyone

But all I do is hold my tongue

And try to cause a different pain

There's nothing more to gain

It's over dead and done

And now my blood shall run
