Deception Has Handed Me

Deception Has Handed Me

A Poem by Avery James

A terror I can't claim

I'm questioning sane.

blame is rather harsh

Are you worth your name?

Ponder foriegn thoughts and

seep them into the cranium

cause we're here to blame 'em

And that's rather harsh, my friend.

it's down to you in the end.

So don't pull a Bush,

engage in this kush

and tell me the truth.

Reveal your secrets and lies

and we'll express a friendship

that never hides.

Show me your soft spots

revel in dreams caught.

A smile I never knew

a touch that you always planned.

A portrait your mind drew.

My deception here in hand.
