I picked up my bags and walked away
It hurt that you never asked me to stay
The love we shared, the time we spent
Seems like nothing is what it all meant
I get to my car and start to leave
I want so bad for you to stop me
But you just watched from the window
Maybe you thought i wouldn't really go
A few months ago, that would've been so
I'd rather have stayed than let you go
But my heart is too defeated to fight
Though i hoped for just one last light
A sign, a signal, something to hold
Start a fire in my heart that's now stone cold
I hoped and prayed, but there was none
So i drive back home to where i came from
I'm not turning back, i look to tomorrow
i wish you no ill will or sickness or sorrow
I still care for you, i'm far from a hater
I'll never say goodye, just see you later

This is really sweet. I thought the end would be quite egotistic...but nope, there's a softcorner in your heart for the person...and that stops you for bearing any ill will towards him. The rhymes were good. I loved it
