The illusion of the Ego

The Ego does not choose side, between good and evil. It becomes the manifestation of the illusion, rooted from the ignorance. This is why the Ego will never be detected by a polarized mind, embroiled to the dualism. True 'Self' neither ask nor give, it is merely is, without desire that taint its ambition and livelihood. It is pure in all its essence, reflecting God and all that is.

To be truly free you must let go of the ego. I ponder over the point you made about the ego never detected by the polarized mind, reminds me of Dr Jeckyl and Mr Hyde. Edit - choose side is "sides", neither ask nor give is "asks nor gives"
