Chapter 3.

A Chapter by Aynsley

When I got out of class I didn't know what to do, so I sat silently waiting for Daniel to finish class, I needed to talk to him urgently.

When he did I had no idea what to say, he was suprised to see me. "Hey babe, didn't know you'd be here so fast." I looked at him sadly, then looked away.

"Daniel, we need to talk."

"What's there to talk about baby? It's just you can me, forever together." He smiled, taking my hand; I shook it off.

"Don't touch me." I spat, avoiding his eyes. He pulled me to him, but I pushed him away. "It's not working." I added, looking at him seriously. He grabbed my wrist angrily and shouted at my face.

"Don't you dare say that! I came here for you, you no good piece of s**t!" He spat, punching my stomach. Daniel had always had anger issues, but he never once touched me, normally he'd just yell at me and call me names but this was out of control.

"Oww!" I screeched, falling to the ground; in pain. "Ah!" I started running away but since he was the fastest runner in the school, he caught me without an effort and knocked me down.

"Please stop!" I cried, he got off me and helped me up. "I'm sorry darling, you know I'm agressive when you try to break up with me, so next time ... don't. " He said, as a warning. I nodded sadly, and burst into tears.

When I got home that day I stayed up all night crying, and when morning came I cried all morning, even at school.

Darren noticed me crying and pulled me into an embrace. "What's wrong?" He asked, wiping tears from my eyes. I turned away from him.

"Nothing is." I lied, cradling myself. He stepped closer and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"What is it?" He asked again, looking into my eyes. I didn't know what to say, I couldn't possibly tell him. I wasn't going to. I opened my mouth and replied. "I broke my fingernail." When I said this, he cracked up, but when I wasn't laughing, he stopped immediately and whispered in my ear.

"You can tell me anything Carly." He said, stroking my cheek. His touch sent sparks all through my body, making me feel shy and uneasy. His hand fell to my chin and tilted it so I was looking at him. Then he leaned closer and pressed his lips to mine.

His kiss was so soft, so moist. So delicious, oh how I'd been longing for the feel of his lips upon mine. I kissed him back softly wilst wrapping my arms around his neck and pulling him close. I closed my eyes and I let my lips do the talking. Finally when I needed a breath I pulled away and shed a single tear.

"It's Daniel." I said.
