Let's Azonto

Let's Azonto

A Poem by ayosonolowo
"

Put on your dancing shoe, and let's azonto, forget that girl, because she's an azontoa, but let's mimic her style

"
She signal an amazing intention,
with her acrobatic movement,
she place her right leg slightly in front,
she twisted on the whole leg,

can you do the zonto,

she knee she bend and move her hips,
that girl is an Azontoa,
she raise her hands up and pop her hips,
can i mimic her style?,

let do the zonto,

her finger accrossed her right wrist,
she move her right hand forward and backward
am gonna mimic her style,
let's do the zonto,

can you do the zonto?,

i call it Zonto,
she call it Azonto,
you call it Abontoa,
but i say she's an Azontoa,

i must mimic her style.

Yea,.. Thanks alot.
Lovely detailing in the poem which describes the girl that did the azonto. The way you use your descriptive words to make the whole poem come alive makes the reader see it and read it slowly to get each detail that you were talking about.
Keep writing :)

Really? K to what, thanks for the review.
Well written. I like the cadence of the poem.

"she knee she bend and move her hips,
that girl is an Azontoa,
**she raise her hands up and pop her hips,
can i mimic her style?,"

Great stanza. Great images and pulls the reader in here.

Your first stanza is great as well. I really like this poem. Thank you for sharing.
