Gypsy Heart

Gypsy Heart

A Poem by Kaelee Wyant
"

I like to steal love ;)

"
I knew growing up
Someday I'd travel the world
Being a gypsy
That's all that I learned
I was a little girl
With big dreams
And maybe
A little too naive

Nothing lasts forever
Heart breaks are in store
Love can't be afforded
By the broken and poor
So
Yes I do steal
I'm a gypsy
Steal your heart and
Make you love me
Cast my spells and
make you wonder
What happened
When I pull you under

When I'm all alone
No I can't go home
Wandering from place to place
With a gypsy heart

I had all that I'd want
Only the best
But my smile
Was only for dress
Watching others and
Wanting to stay
But leaving was
The only way

So don't you know
It's a gypsy heart
Don't blame yourself
It's just a part
Of life of living of growing up
Sometimes it's not enough

Kaelee Wyant
Everything I write is usually depressing... However he caused my views to shift for a few poems. This one is actually a song I wrote if you want the piano chords just ask.

"Love can't be afforded by the broken and poor" That's the best line I've ever heard here and so true. You did a nice job on this poem, well done.
