The Poetry of Basho

The Poetry of Basho

A Poem by Brandt
"

a dash of Matsuo Basho, a splash of Tang Dynasty moon mirrors, a crash of worlds

"
fragile banana plant
teacher living simply
I see no difference

mirrors reflect light
distant moon shines
I feel for other things

leaves tear in rain
giving life to the soil
I think it is beautiful

things live within words
words grow within things
I am one with many names

Beautiful. Thought provoking in a quiet sort of way. Love it.
