a poem about puppies, that is in no way a joke.

Puppies are good. 

Puppies are great. 

BUT. 

Some puppies deserve to be put in a crate. 

Or on a plate. 

with some asparagus. 

paired with wine (probably red) 

and served with a hollanaise. 

.......

......

......

There may be pie afterwards.

yep. that happened. In all seriousness, though....this bit is meant to serve as a companion piece to a previous poem. Where the previous piece was about my being on the verge of saying something fairly emotional, this one is an obvious move to avoid any touchy feely nonsense. Much better to joke about puppies than to say something personal.

I am not positive. I have heard they might, but could be a rumor. But I am positive that somehow, somewhere.........a dog is being eaten. Thank you, I 'm glad you found it funny. I did too.
