My Shepherd

My Shepherd

A Poem by Poe Redd
"

bitter

"
For we shall not want
          and not with us
          the want wants us more
We seek not our own opinion
venture not into satisfaction
            with life and ourselves

Ourself in a vacuum
but in belief
to a life unrelenting

I lay in green fields that are burning.

Good use of words. I had to read twice. I like your thoughts and how you ended this poem. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
