Rainbows of Emotion

This is my FIRST post on here, constructive criticism is tolerated but hate is not.

I spy a rainbow
High in the sky
I spy a rainbow
It's colors are just a lie
An illusion
Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Purple

Red is anger
An emotion of power
Because she wanted a toy
But her mother didn't allow her

Orange is frustration
One that is felt by many
Because when you work your hardest
Is when it it only worth a penny

Yellow is cowardice
Just the opposite of Orange's lost bravery
Because it will always be the one to run
Even though it will always be lazy

Green is envy
The ugly shade of jealousy
Because things they don't have
Are another's blessing and melody

Blue is sadness
When things are looking down
Because all the heroes
Aren't winning the fight now

Purple is arrogance
As it's beauty brings everyone else down
Yet their own problems
Add more weight to their crown

The colors of the rainbow
They are all lies
But what if
They were really a truth in disguise
What if red meant love, with passion and beauty
What if orange meant energy, free of tiring duties
And what if yellow could mean happiness
While green was it's sister, optimism
And blue will calm the colors of their energy
While purple's royal crown remains on their head
And the colors bow down to their wonderful queen

Because after every storm
There is a rainbow
And that rainbow
Is all the emotion there will ever be.
