Time : My Friend and Foe

Time is my early friend, the best friend too
This lovely world that has brought me into.
That has showed me the beauty of the sea
Lakes, rocks , sky , moon and also the tree.

Time has given me all that delicious foods.
Birds soothe my ears singing in the woods.
Time is God who’s given me loving mother,
And love of family and you, my sweet dear.

But, it’s Time that is the worst foe of mine
That wants to snatch, from me, everything;
Childhood days, bird’s notes and the hue.
Now this Time wants to take my love, you.

How can I fight, for you, against that time?
As it is my good friend and a foe of mine !
