As one

This may be the end
Or the beginning
Of a life time journey through the inevitable
Everything changing at the blink of an eye
Everyone going without a goodbye
Can things change without hurt?
Can things get better as we grow?
The life of us is undetermined
Please just show some light
With the gloom fogging up the world
My father brought me up well
As well as others
However people don't listen to the wise words of the tellers
Ignoring everything of their upbringing
My hope goes to a world of peace
However that only happens with us beings
Come together as one
Protect each other as one
Give to each other as one
We can only do this as one

Wonderful message and so very thoughtful. I cherish the notion that the only thing permanent is 'change'. Change in order to live, to grow, to learn. And the world does need a change - a big one in fact - if we want to come anywhere close to the notion of peace. But still, let's not lose hope.
