Dreaded Rain

Dreaded Rain

A Poem by Lauren_The_Awesome

Pitter patter
Pitter patter
The rain hits the roof
As her tears run down her cheeks
Her eyes and cheeks the color of crimson
Pitter patter
Pitter patter
The rain gets harder
Sounds like hail coming down
As she starts to lose her mind
Starts grabbing what he gave her
And destroys it
Just like how he destroyed her heart
All of her feelings
Pitter patter
Pitter patter
The rough rain turns into a thunderstorm
Lightening flashing
Thunder growling
She is trying to take apart every little memory
She is becoming mad
Mad at how life has treated her
He was supposed to make her forget all the horrid things
Supposed to be there for her
But he left her
And made her feel empty
Destroyed her
Destroyed her dignity
Her love
Pitter patter
Pitter patter
The storm is ending
The blue sky is coming out
She doesn't feel okay
But she knows one day she will be

amazing expression of wanting someone and being let down like rain. pitter patter.

girls "expect". they expect guys to be somebody or something, then girls "give". it happens a lot but shouldn't. stop giving. you don't need validation, or to feel okay one day. if you want something, take it!

if you want a boy to love you, tell him thank you then pull away. make him feel like missing you. it's equally messed up, but it works. "thank you" then pull away. he might not chase but he'll feel the need to chase. then tell him what to do. be specific. he better listen! boys need to be trained. boys will obey. don't put the ball in their court! tell a boy exactly what to do.

Yes!! So very true! They realize they can't make it without you.
