Mee, Yoo, and Hee

This is about three boys called Mee, Yoo, and Hee who meet on the road while out walking...

I met a boy upon the road
And asked of him his name.
"I'm Yoo" he said. I scratched my head,
Believing not his claim.

"I really find it hard to see
How you and I can both be me.
You can't be me, for I am he,
So you are you and I am Mee."

"That's right!" he said, "I quite agree
That I am Yoo, and you are Mee.
My name is Yoo, so now you see
That I am Yoo, and I am me!"

"You are you, and you are Mee?
I fail to see how that can be.
I say again frustratedly,
If you are you, you can't be me!"

Just as we were setting to
Another boy came into view.
And knowing not what else to do
I asked the stranger "Who are you?"

The new boy, looking right at me
Said "Pleased to meet you, I am Hee."
I gaped at him, dumfoundedly,
"You mean to tell me you are he?"

The second boy said "That's not true,
He can't be me, for I am Yoo."

I turned on him most angrily,
"You can't be me for I am he!"

The new boy said "But can't you see
That you're not Hee for that is me!"


STOP!!!


"I think the point is getting through
That I am Mee, and you are Yoo.
He is Hee, and that will do.
And now I bid you both adieu."

This is really funny and points out how easily we can become confused and almost forget who is who. LOL It brings to mind some of the comedy shows when I was young, like Abbot and Costello, and even the Three Stooges. Great job. Thanks for the link and the laugh!
