In the dream

In the dream

A Poem by Beau-dee-loot

In the dream I’m running and running and can’t get there

In the dream I find money; then more money, and so on

In the dream there are famous people who I have never met. We play tag.

In the dream there are wild animals roaming free and dangerously

In the dream my brakes don’t work

In the dream I cannot get my trousers up

In the dream my dad is smiling maniacally. He’s a 100 times bigger.

In the dream people are made of wood

In the dream I am more helpless

In the dream I am 10 years old

In the dream I drive to school, as an adult, with my trousers around my ankles

In the dream my dick falls off … but I can stick it back on

In the dream I don’t wear spectacles

In the dream the house is under water, where sharks frequent

In the dream there is no freedom

In the dream I am being pursued by Jaws (as seen on TV)

In the dream I am immortal

In the dream I can fly … or at least consistently jump extreme distances

In the dream my fists move towards my assailant in painfully slow motion

In the dream I have hair

In the dream I am visibly not me. I look nothing like that. Pictures are proof.

In the dream I discover my sister has a bigger dick than me

In the dream I am more people than when I am not in the dream

In the dream I wake up

In the dream I have huge lacerations on the soles of my feet that need operating on

In the dream I cannot open my eyes

In the dream I’m still a schoolboy, and late

In the dream I can see into souls simply by looking into eyes

In the dream I am naked somewhere

In the dream I am the sea at sundown sleeping with the sun, and find peace

In the dream I pick people from my nose

In the dream I scratch my head mundanely

In the dream I find brilliant solutions, which, upon waking, are total nonsense.

In the dream I run from the dream, and escape
