Valar Morghulis

All men must die.

Can we slow our impending demise?

I will take what is mine

with fire and blood.

We must take control of our name

of our kind

of our being.

And what happens to things that don’t bend

They break.

We break.

We have been broken for far too long.

We are women.

Women? Is that meant to insult me?

We are put in this world

to please

to give life

to maintain life;

Our duties cycle

like a wheel.

I’m not going to stop the wheel.

I’m going to break the wheel.

We control our own lives.

We control our own destinies.

I will do what Queens do.

I will rule.

Protect your own realm.

Protect womanhood.

All men must die,

but we are not men.

Author's Note

This is a patchwork poem, with italicized words as quotes from Game of Thrones. I hope this gets the message across. It was a little difficult for me especially because it was so different from the original.

Haha well thank you for reading my work! Honestly, Arya is a really great character as are Lyanna Mormont and post childhood Sansa. Ned, Jon and Gendry (if we ever see him again) are my favorite guys. It's hard to say to be honest.

yeah he is, though he'd probably want me to partake in a drinking contest, and I don't drink lol. little finger is fun to watch, doubtful fun to know. he'd only see you as either useless if you're lucky, or a means to an end if you're not.
