Syrian war is NOT your business

Syrian war is NOT your business

A Poem by Salar Majak
"

seriously why does every government gets a say in this???

"

I don't want your pity

I only want to grieve alone..

To cry, with all my heart to scream:

''why did it have to be my home?"'

S**t happens....that I know

but why completely destroyed?

why does it have to be my Syria?

Killed........Abandoned...........alone.......

It'll all be forgotten by the world

like nothing had ever happened

in two or even three years later

maybe a little bit more

Don't dare say I'm wrong!

Remember Vietnam? Iraq?

remember Palestine?

didn't think so, no.

This is why I don't need your pity

or world's governments to play a role

If it's dying... let it die in peace

Death is more merciful than foreigners souls

Don't fight then blame others

this battle is certainly not yours

you'll just turn your backs on us later

after starting a third world war

Forgive me for like this ranting

war strips courage from my core

but the pain of losing my country

hurts too much to be ignored

I could well understand and feel your position. I am from a country which was colonized for 300 years by foreigners and history reveals that our forefathers had been treated as second class citizens in our own country. After fighting for our freedom my country (or our leaders) allowed itself to surrender a part of its sovereignty to foreign domination. But if only for humanitarian considerations, I do not see anything wrong for other countries to be extending assistance. yet, there is always the possibility that some countries would be extending assistance with a hidden political and economic intentions. This is something every citizen should be alarmed about. Very creative vent. May Peace be with your country.

It is not help. you are quite correct. It is more, what can we, (the governments) get out of it. It is not for any altruistic or humanitarian reasons. All these powers have ulterior motive and have become carrion feeders as a result. Very powerful statement and one that I have a lot of sympathy with. I know that last statement sounds very trite but it is meant.

I agree with you 100 percent. I'll be the first to agree that America goes where it should not be, for reasons that aren't very well thought out. I think most people on this planet wishes for the end of war. But sadly it's only the top 1 percent that really has any say in what happens, it's that lack of control by the people that breed frustration and unrest, which has blossomed into many governmental over throws in many countries over the years.

Why they feel that agression is always the answer, I don't know. I wish people could solve their issues over a friendly game of chess, at least that way it would be based off some intelect and not just emotional fears.

I see what is going on in Syria and it hurts to see the pain that so many are feeling. I wish for your sake and the sake of everyone that there was an easy answer to chaos. But if history is a track record, humanity has grown to the point where those answers are visable yet. I think that is what is the most heartbreaking.

Big Hugs! Rant when you need. You've got lots of friends here who share in your hearts emotions.

I understand Sal...it's all about greed and the almighty green, always my pleasure :-)
Governments all believe that they are the world's policemen....What is the United Nations for, that is what I would like to know...I feel for you Sal and wish you well. I fear that MONEY and GREED drive the leaders of our beautiful planet..And unfortunately it always will

Were thousands of people really gassed? Most people in America don't agree with our president. We don't think we should get involved either. I agree with your words.

Aurora, I couldn't agree with you more and I do remember the other countries you have mentioned. I am so very sorry that this is your home that is in the middle of all of the govermental meddling, and that is not pity, it is kind words from a distant friend. Speaking for half of America, I can tell you, we are against the U.S. involvment in any form or fashion, unfortuntaely there is not much we can do about it.

Peace be with you my friend

When brothers fight with each other, outsiders take away all households-an old proverb.
People Ve to realize this before its too late in a beautiful country called Syria.
