Ghost Socks

It has been raining

For more days than

I can remember.


The stars are infinite

With no sky big enough

To hold them

So that, looking up,

I am afraid of falling.


She says

The sound of the rain

On the canvas

Is like ghost socks


I miss you

More than you

Can know.
