Halloween Night

This is a new one. Different.

Slimy things to keep you awake

Haunting tales to scare the kids

Things that cause your heart to quake

Nightmares behind closed lids

Trick-or-treating, candy delight

Spiders, witches, vampires, ghosts

On October 31st, Halloween night

Be one to go our, or one to host

"Trick-or-treat, smell my feet

Give me something good to eat"

Screams a kid in a costume made of a sheet

TP'ing your trees in sly deceit

Spider webs, pumpkins, skeletons, and a black cat

Halloween night, what do you think of that?
